Relaxing Bath Bombs

Something that is fun and easy to create for last minute gifts are bath bombs! Christmas is the perfect time of year to create your very own bath bombs to give to someone who really deserves a relaxing bath this winter. Not only are they fun to drop into the bath, they are beneficial for your skin. The best part about this gift is that you can customize it to your liking! So you could add in some lavender essential oils to give off a soothing and calming effect or maybe some dried up rose petals along with some rose essential oils to help ease irritated skin caused by the cold weather.

Here is what you’ll need: (Makes about 4)

  • 2 ½ tbsp. almond oil (or coconut oil)
  • 3/4 tbsp. water
  • 12 drops of your essential oils
  • bath bomb molds
  • optional: dried lavender leaves, dried rose petals, dried seaweed, etc.

Here is what to do:

  • Very slowly add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients bowl and mix together
  • Mix SLOWLY until all ingredients are well mixed together and has the consistency of wet sand
  • Fill both bath bomb molds entirely; really pack them tight with the mixture
  • Press the two bath bomb molds together firmly until you feel they are attached and let it sit for a minute or so before slowly taking the bath bomb molds off of the bath bomb
