Hello Global Beauties,

Now that winter is approaching, it is time to do some serious thinking about protecting your skin in this unpredictable weather. Personally, my skin tends to start become dried out and irritated from the cold windy days and I know many of you experience this issue as well. So what could be better than creating your very own DIY face masks to help repair, protect, and renew your precious skin! Here are five DIY face masks that you can try this winter to help cleanse and moisturize your skin for the upcoming season.

Pumpkin & Avocado DIY Face Mask

Even though fall is coming to an end, I still can’t get enough of pumpkin! In this easy to make face mask, it contains both pumpkin and avocado, creating the perfect mixture to softly protect your skin out in the cold. Pumpkin is packed full of Vitamin C, which fights to protect your skin and multiple B Vitamins, which together can help clear acne, and help circulation within your skin. Whereas, the avocado is popularly known to moisturize and calm the skin with natural fatty acids. To top off this already amazing combo, you can add in turmeric to help with clearing any acne scarring or inflammation; which let’s be real, many of us experience along with the cold weather.

This next face mask to try this winter is this cranberry and yogurt infused face mask with a touch of honey and olive oil to rehydrate and repair your skin. The cranberries have an acidic nature, which can help get rid of any oil that is sitting in your pores. Cranberries also help keep your skin soft and healthy due to the fact they contain Vitamin C, which will help protect your skin in all weather conditions. Lastly, cranberries help clear up any acne you may get along with the stress of the holidays because of their antiseptic properties.
